My family REALLY liked this place- and that's no easy feat! While unassuming on the outside, this place fully exceeded my expectations, even after reading their glowing reviews. The waiter was super attentive and friendly, but the food was game changing. We got the papadum shrimp, samosas and a few curries that were all good, but the shining stars were the Nepali mono and a spinach dip filled naan that were recommended by our waiter. It's hard to find a novel culinary experience with my families love of food, but Masala Waves is definitely going on our regular rotation now!

Great spot for Indian. Maybe the best in HB. We came here for lunch with some vegetarian family members. They are very picky about their veggie korma. They loved it! We also had the samosas, which were delicious. The lunch special is a great deal. The servers were attentive and friendly. They also have a little shop inside the restaurant. I didn't purchase anything this time but next time I'll probably pick up one of the bags.

I have never left a review in my life. I do this out of respect to the food that has just graced my insides. I'd ask Ganesh to come back to Utah with me but I'm assuming he's taken. This place has the BEST Indian food I have ever tasted. The end

Ok. I love this place! The minute you walk in you're greeted with a friendly hello. It's a unique and charming restaurant with a casual atmosphere home atmosphere. The food was fresh and so flavorful! It smelled divine in there and we wanted to try it all! For appetizers we ordered the tikka masala fries - I know what? This was surprisingly tasty and the fries were fresh and crispy! And the Nepal Momo's - very similar to a dumpling. Def a must try. We got the tandoori chicken on the sizzling player! Butter chicken, and garlic naan. Every dish was sooo good! Ask for the yogurt dip on the side! Refreshing and takes the heat out of the dish when it's too spicy. My friend got the Mango Lasse and said it was refreshing like a smoothie. And we ended the dessert with their homemade mango and pistachios ice cream!!! Drool worthy! I will definitely come back! I will crave this place therefore I give it my full 5 stars!! Thank you Masala Waves for an unforgettable feast!!!!

I haven't had much Nepalese food, I'm only familiar with Momo so I was very excited to try a lot of new things. The appetizers are all great and good for sharing. I cannot recommend their Momo and signature curry enough! Nepali Momo - 5/5, similar to dumplings but the momo sauce is EVERYTHING!!! You can really tell that the sauce is house made. Daal Soup - 5/5, excellent heart-warming soup for a cold day. The spices are so good, but this soup is easily outshined by the flavorful sauces and curries. I enjoyed it more the next day to-go versus with the rest of my meal. Vegetable Pakora - 3/5, the batter was not as crispy or lightly fried as I like my pakora to be. I loved the two sauces it came with. Nepali Chicken Curry - This curry was SO insanely good. I don't know what goes into a Himalayan sauce, but it's definitely tomato-based and it was DELICIOUS. Love, love, love all the spices and it's not too spicy either! Mango lassi - 5/5, not too sweet. The yogurt was perfectly tart complemented the sweet mango. Great consistency for a blended fruit drink!

Nice and helpful servers. This is a legit place for Chicken Tandoori and Chicken Tikka Masala, both were very delicious. A definite must try.
